The Founders
Dr. Rolf Meier and Axel Janssen got to know each other in 2004 and
identified a similar understanding of values in coaching, from which
they developed the “think tank” Hamburger Schule.
Dr. Rolf Meier
Dr.
Rolf Meier, born in 1944, studied economics at the Freie Universitaet
Berlin with a central focus on business and economics education.
For more than 20 years he held managerial and managing director positions
in various fields and organisations.
Author of many books, he has always dealt thoroughly with questions
on the selection and further development of employees.
Leadership, as a personal and structural form, is at the centre of
his job as a management trainer and consultant of employee development
concepts.
Axel Janssen
Axel
Janssen, born in 1964, studied educational science with a focus
on personnel studies at the Helmut-Schmidt-Universitaet in Hamburg.
Many years of leadership experience in managerial positions in
a range of fields and organisations have formed his humanistic-constructivist
idea of man, as well as his love of and devotion to learning processes
combined with a substantial degree of structural design.
Axel Janssen is joint founder of the “Deutscher Verband fuer
Coaching und Training” (www.dvct.de) of which he was executive
chairman for 5 years.
